Mouldd Epoxy Resin

I only use resin on beads that need some protection like mica powder, silk screen or alcohol inks. I usually use JDiction, so was very interested to try this new brand. I had made some key rings on which I had transferred some water colour pictures via my inkjet printer, and so of course although they are baked on they do need some protection. I just don't seem to be able to get a really good finish with varnish and glazes.

I prepared 2 pendants for each brand of resin. I had also read that some artists resin from the centre out and some say that it is better to resin the outer rim first and then the centre as this appears to prevent as much shrink back. I therefore decided to try each method for each brand.
