Sue
Heaser is a professional polymer clay designer and has published several
books on the subject. She makes a wide variety of jewellery, ornaments,
miniatures, dolls, and marionettes and gives workshops and demonstrations
all over the UK and the States.
The box in the picture is made using Sue's technique of faux pietre dure - a form of mosaic that was developed in Florence in the 16th century. The box is about 3 in (75 mm) long.
