I first started using polymer clay in about 1988, making fridge magnets and then marbled beads. But in 1996 I went to a summer camp in the USA to teach ceramics, and the students and I became absolutely hooked on creating millefiori canes.

Nowadays I tend to specialise in teaching and demonstrating flower and leaf canes, and I write occasional articles for craft magazines.
