I have been a committee member since 2009 and I currently organise our presence at exhibitions and do demonstrations on the BPCG's behalf. I also organise the workshops for the miniaturists. And if that is not enough I am responsible for the video library.
I have been model making all my life – originally Airfix kits, and subsequently paper flowers. But the paper flowers all came out the same size which was disappointing. It was then I started researching 1/12 scale (and still build models and furniture mainly in wood).
At dolls house fairs I was not happy with what was produced so about five years ago I started experimenting with polymer clay, and producing food stuffs in particular, that were, I believe, far more lifelike than those then on offer. Miniature food is now my speciality and I sell on www.polymini.co.uk.
